WAY 1 : THE CASUAL BAY
Grab a Bay With Your Mates
Grab a Bay With Your Mates
The classic. A private bay for up to six players, your vibe, your pace, and a course you’ve watched the pros play all your life.
We adjust the setup for your group. Forward tees for the first-timer, tighter settings for the low marker, and everyone plays a round they enjoy. Nobody watches from the next bay, because there is no next bay in your world.
This is the indoor golf night that fits inside a Tuesday. See pricing and split it between the bay.
WAY 2 : THE LEAGUE
Compete in the Thursday Night Battle of The Bay League, or play in the comp during the week when it suits you.
Compete in the Thursday Night Battle of The Bay League, or play in the comp during the week when it suits you.
Real competition, zero stuffiness. League format is Teams of two, playing 2v2, on a different course each week, in 8-to-10-week cycles.
Weekly online comps, play when you can make it, log your score, check the leaderboard.
Everyone plays off a house handicap, so the newcomer and the club golfer both have a real shot at the title. Your first step is a free handicap session: play a round, register the score, get your number.
Winners get bragging rights and prizes. Leagues and Competitions has the detail, or register interest when you book.
WAY 3 : THE PRACTICE SESSION
Sharpen Up in the Nets or on the Range
Sharpen Up in the Nets or on the Range
Two dedicated net bays sit alongside the five massive simulators. Not your normal net session. With the Square Omni Launch monitor/GSPro connectivity and Touchscreen monitor giving you club and ball data at your fingertips.
On the simulators, GSpro’s range mode adds dispersion maps, distance challenges and target practice, while ProTee Labs tracks your carry distances and strike pattern across sessions. It’s how you turn practice into a measurably better game.
Ten focused swings with data beat a hundred without it.
WAY 4 : THE LESSON
Lessons, Personally Arranged
Lessons, Personally Arranged
Want structured help? Talk to Darren or Mat and they’ll organise a pro to work with you in-bay, with the ProTee VX and swing cameras doing the diagnostics.
It’s a personal arrangement rather than a booking button: tell us what you’re working on and we’ll set it up.
Contact us through the enquiry form to get started.
WAY 5 : THE OCCASION
Make It an Event
Make It an Event
Groups beyond six, work functions, birthdays, bucks and hens: multiple bays run the same competition at once, and the whole venue takes up to 40 guests.
Corporate bookings get formats where every person plays, whatever their golf history. See Corporate Events or Social Events and tell us the occasion.
Never Played? You're Exactly Who We Built This For
No clubs, no experience, no idea of the rules: none of it matters here. Your bay is private, your Hosts handle the setup, and the data quietly teaches you what your swing is doing.
Wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Bring people you like. The game does the rest.
Curious how it feels on a first visit? Our first-timer’s guide walks through it.
Playing at The Bay: Your Questions, Answered
What is indoor golf?
Real golf played inside: real clubs, real balls, a launch monitor measuring every shot, and the course rendered in front of you. At The Bay in Kirrawee, that means ProTee VX technology in five private bays. Your actual swing, measured properly.
How does indoor golf work?
You book a private bay, choose a course, and play; the ProTee VX reads each shot and shows the flight and data within a second. Hosts set everything up and bring food and drinks to your bench. The five steps above cover a session start to finish.
What is a golf bay?
A golf bay is your private hitting area: mat, impact surface, launch monitor, course display and a bench for the group. The Bay runs five full-size simulator bays and two practice net bays in Kirrawee. One booking gets your group the whole space.
How many people can play at once?
Up to six players share one bay at The Bay, taking turns shot by shot. Larger groups book multiple bays and compete across them, up to 40 guests venue-wide. Six is the sweet spot for a big night that still moves quickly.
How long does a session take?
Most groups play 18 holes in under two hours, and smaller groups are faster. Nine holes suits a one-hour booking. The pace is yours, because the bay is yours.
Do you need your own clubs?
No. Quality hire sets are $10, left-handed included, and your Hosts will sort you out on arrival. Bring your own clubs if you have them; your carry data means more with the sticks you actually play.
Is indoor golf good for beginners?
It’s the best way in. The private bay removes the audience, the data replaces the guesswork, and the setup is adjusted to your level, serving Kirrawee, Caringbah, and the Sutherland Shire. Our beginner’s guide covers a first visit.
Is indoor golf good for groups?
It’s built for them. Every skill level competes on equal footing because the data levels the room, and nobody waits around on a fairway. Groups of two to six share a bay; bigger occasions take several.
Can a beginner use a golf simulator?
Absolutely. The ProTee VX doesn’t care about your handicap; it just shows you what each swing did, which is how beginners improve fast. Your Hosts will have you hitting within minutes of walking in.
How do I start playing golf?
Book a bay and hit balls; it’s genuinely that simple at The Bay. No lessons or equipment are required first, and the data teaches you from swing one. When you want structure, we can arrange a lesson.
