All the Connection, None of the Logistics

Everything a corporate golf day builds between people, without spending all day doing it. Every guest plays, whatever their golf history.

THE REFRAME

You Love What a Golf Day Does. You Just Can't Spare the Day.

The corporate golf day earns its reputation. Deals soften, guards drop, and relationships get built in a way no boardroom manages.

The problem was never golf. It’s the logistics: the 6am start, the six hours, the half of your guest list who quietly dread it because they don’t play.

The Bay keeps the part that works. Your people, together, with clubs in hand and a leaderboard on. Two hours, indoors, ten minutes from Caringbah. Everyone’s back for the afternoon, or straight into drinks.

HOW IT RUNS

Your Event, Built Around Your Group

Exclusive bays or the whole venue

Book bays side by side, or take over the venue for up to 40 guests.

Everyone plays

We set each bay to its group: forward tees for first-timers, tighter settings for the golfers. The ProTee VX data keeps even the never-played-before guest hooked by their third swing.

Live scoring and formats

Custom competitions, bay-versus-bay team play, longest drive, closest to the pin. A host runs it, prizes land at the end.

Catering and drinks

Grazing platters, share plates and catered options by day, a local pizza partner by night, with drinks delivered to the bays. Tell us the occasion and we'll match the menu.

Give us one week’s notice and a deposit secures the date.

WHO USES IT

Built for How the Shire Actually Does Business

Client entertainment that doesn’t ask for a whole day. Team rewards that beat another long lunch. End-of-year functions where the quiet ones end up on the leaderboard.

The Sutherland Shire runs on trust and relationships, and shared competition builds both faster than small talk. That’s the outcome you’re buying: a room full of people with a story they were all part of, serving Kirrawee, Caringbah, and the Sutherland Shire.

FAQs

Corporate Event Questions, Answered

What is a corporate golf day?

A corporate golf day is client or team entertainment built around golf, traditionally a full day at an outdoor course. At The Bay in Kirrawee, the indoor version delivers the same relationship-building in two to three hours, with every guest playing regardless of ability. Enquire at hello@thebaygolf.com.au and we’ll shape one to your group.

Pick a date, tell us your numbers and goal, and we handle the rest: bay allocation, formats, scoring, catering and prizes. One week’s notice and a deposit locks it in. Start with the enquiry form or email hello@thebaygolf.com.au.

Corporate events at The Bay are quoted to your group size, catering and format, and always cost less than a traditional golf day once the lost hours are counted. Tell us the plan and we’ll price it within one business day.

Bay-versus-bay team competitions, longest drive and closest-to-the-pin ladders, and an ambrose format for mixed-ability groups are the reliable winners. The ProTee VX handles scoring live, so the leaderboard runs itself. We’ll recommend a format once we know your group.

Yes, fully. The setup adjusts to every player, and the data makes the first-timer’s progress part of the fun rather than a problem. At The Bay, the non-golfer regularly steals the leaderboard.

Up to six per bay, five bays running side by side, and up to 40 guests for a full venue takeover. Groups larger than 40 can split across sessions; ask us.

Shared competition on neutral ground builds trust faster than a formal meeting, and golf gives every conversation somewhere to go. Indoors at The Bay, the benefits compound: no travel day, no weather risk, no guest left out. Two to three hours at The Bay does the work of six.

Yes. Every bay is private to your group as standard, and events can take several bays or the whole venue. Tell us your numbers and we’ll map the space.

It’s the format the corporate golf day should have been: everyone plays, nobody’s weather-dependent, and the group stays together instead of scattering down fairways. The conversation that starts on the first hole is still going on the eighteenth.

The Bay in Kirrawee is a premium indoor golf and social lounge in the Sutherland Shire: private bays, ProTee VX technology, catering, and capacity for 40. Enquire at hello@thebaygolf.com.au.
